How Should I Take Generic Duvanta 30 mg?
Mostly, you should take 1 Generic Duvanta 30 mg capsule daily, Unless otherwise directe by your doctor.
Do not stop taking Generic Duvanta 30 mg without first consulting your doctor.
Store in the original package.
Do not store above 30°C. Do not use Generic Duvanta 30 mg after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
What are the contraindications for taking Generic Duvanta 30 mg?
* If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to duloxetine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Generic Duvanta 30 mg.
* If you are taking or have recently taken within the last 14 days, another antidepressant medicine called
a monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
* If you have liver disease.
* If you have severe kidney disease.
* If you are taking fluvoxamine, ciprofloxacin or enoxacine.
* If you are taking other medicines containing duloxetine hydrochloride.
* If you suffer from uncontrolled high blood pressure.
What Happens if I miss a dose ?
In case of a missed a dose take it as soon as you remember.
However, if it is almost time for the next regularly scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next one as
directed. Do not take a double dose of this medication unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
What happens if I overdose ?
Symptoms of a Generic Duvanta 30 mg overdose may include nausea, vomiting, tremor, agitation, seizures, drowsiness,
hyperactivity, and enlarged pupils.
What are the possible side effects of Generic Duvanta 30 mg?
Ocurrence of side effects Generic Duvanta 30 mg are rare. However some patients may experience: nausea; a dry mouth;
sleeping difficulties.
Some patients can experience a slight decrease in appetite during the course of treatment.
What other drugs can interact with Generic Duvanta 30 mg?
* Duvanta 30 mg must not be taken with any of the following medicines, as they increase the blood level of Generic Duvanta 30 mg and may increase the risk of side effects: fluvoxamine; ciprofloxacin; enoxacine.
* Duvanta 30 mg should not be used at the same time as a medicine called Yentreve, which also contains duloxetine hydrochloride,
but is used for urinary incontinence.
There may be an increased risk of a rare side effect called the serotonin syndrome if Generic Duvanta 30 mg is taken with any
of the following medicines, which also enhance the activity of serotonin in the central nervous system:SSRI antidepressants, eg fluoxetine, paroxetine; tricyclic antidepressants such as clomipramine or amitriptyline;
venlafaxine; tryptophan; tramadol; pethidine; triptans for migraine, eg sumatriptan.
